Oliver contemplates his skating prowess

Peggy's Cove, where the snow meets the sea. On the weekend just passed we drove 40 minutes to this beautiful spot just out of town. Cold does not go anywhere near describing how ... um ... invigorating it was. With the wind blowing of the Atlantic Ocean this was no place for a leisurely dip! It is a  summer hot spot for tourists but it was spectacular in winter and pretty empty. We tucked into some lobster for lunch then went and checked out the local lobster industry. The fella Oliver is holding was for sale at $21.
