Last weekend the Foxes 4 headed to The Commons, a public space where Haligonians go to skate for free. Nothing is ever for free really - the price Charlie paid was loss of feeling in her toes for a good while as we all braved minus 19 degrees temperatures in the name of recreation. No number of falls (and there were lots!) was going to dampen Oliver's enthusiasm. He has never smiled to constantly. Dan wasn't going to play second fiddle - he circumnavigated the course several times himself. Mum and Dad are still in risk-asessment phase before donning the skates.

Anyway, both boys have bonza bruises to remember the day by ... and they can't wait to get out again this weekend.

  1. That looks like fantastic fun. Gavin has a case of the green eyed monster, he thinks if he was born in the Northern Hemesphere that he would have been a crack ice hockey player! Anna looks so stylish in pink hat and scarf, even if her toes are frozen. Oliver looks so happy that he may never want to leave the cold climate. Have a great time this weekend. Loooking forward to seeing the action shots of Miss Anna. Love from the Mansfields.
